GABRIEL OPENE


Registrar/CEO Chartered Institute of Public Management, he is a graduate of University of Lagos where he read Business Administration and furthered to read Master in Public Administration (MPA) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso. He started his work career as a Banker with UBA and left the industry in 1999 after 19 years of service. 

He joined the Institute of Administrative Management, Lagos as a Lecturer and rose to the position of Senior Lecturer. In 2006, he joined Institute of Credit and Risk Management as Head of Training. In 2007, he joined Portfolio and Debt Management Institute as a Director of Training until year 2009, when he co-founded Institute of Public Management, Nigeria (Now Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria) as the Registrar/CEO

Mr. Opene has undergone various training and workshops. He has a Diploma from London Institute of Bankers and also a Certificate on Public Management from London Corporate Training London U.K and a Global MINI Master of Public Administration from RUTGERS, State University of New Jersey USA. He is a member Credit & Risk Management Institute, a member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM) and a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria and became Council member of Professional School of Public Relation in 2019. He is happily married with children.



DR.ABAYOMI OJEKUNLE                                                            


Abayomi Ojekunle was born at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu (OSUTH) to the family of Pa Festus & Madam Omotayo Ojekunle. The father came from Arigbajo village  in Ewekoro LGA and the mother is from  Ode Lemo town in Sagamu LGA that are both situated in Ogun State. 

He started his elementary school at Fadu Memorial Primary School, Ejigbo between 1983 & 1989.He later moved to Remo Secondary School-Sagamu, which he completed in 1995 with Senior School Leaving Certificate(SSCE).

In 1997,he got admission into the prestigious Yaba College of Technology for his National Diploma in Accountancy & Finance which he finished in 1999.In his quest to fulfill his internship placement, he got employment with Wale Adenuga Productions Limited at Seinde Calisto Crescent,Oshodi as a Media/Scheduling Officer.

Afterwards in 2002, he got enrolled at Yaba College of Technology for his Higher National Diploma Programme which he completed in 2004.He later did his mandatory NYSC Scheme with NITEL CHQ, Abuja between 2004/2005.

He came back to Lagos in September 2005, immediately he secured a job with AK MEDIA CONCEPTS LTD at Ketu as Finance Manager. In the year 2007, due to business relationship with South African Broadcasting Corporation owners of DSTV, there was need to start a Yoruba talkshow in Nigeria. He was constituted along with the Media Team from SABC due to his experience at Wale Adenuga Productions Limited that would see to the  emergence of A YORUBA TV TALKSHOW which had not been recorded on DSTV worldwide.

In order to perform effectively well in his new role, Abayomi Ojekunle enrolled at Project Management College, United Kingdom between 2007/2008 which earned  him Executive Masters’ Certificate  in Media  Communication. In the entertainment world, Africa Magic Yoruba debuted in October 2010 on CHANNEL 157 with OYINMOMO as its first TV TALKSHOW in December 2010. As at today Abayomi Ojekunle had produced over 100 Episodes of OYINMOMO TV TALKSHOW with different guest cutting across entertainment, traditional institutions and academics.

Ojekunle registered his own company on 25th June, 2010  known as EXODUS CITY ACADEMY which majored in tutoring upcoming Artistes & Script Writers in order to attain  leadership opportunities ahead of them in form of advisory roles. Public Speaking came alongside with these activities thereby making him to encourage upcoming talents to be determined and focused in life.

He started Public  Speaking  immediately he got married in the year 2009 but started professionally in 2010 by reason of finding himself in the entertainment circle. He has over 10 years experience in Public Speaking till date  which cut across Business, Entrepreneurship & Youth Mentoring.

Ojekunle  went to University of Lagos (Centre for English Language & Communication) for a Certificate Course in Effective English Usage & Communication with 2nd Class (Upper Level) in 2014 in order to get acquainted with current trends in Public Speaking.

In October 2019, he was awarded with Honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy (PhD Honoris Causa) in Mass Communication & Journalism by British American University,Florida,USA for his immense contribution to the upliftment of mankind.

He is a Member of Nigerian Institute  for Training & Development and  has also travelled locally and internationally for Leadership/Managerial Courses which have contributed meaningfully to his life/career. Abayomi Ojekunle is a Christian, married to Princess Adenike Funmilola Ojekunle, an educationist/entrepreneur from Luwoye Ruling House in Igbotako, Okitipupa LGA in Ondo State. They are happily blessed with 3 children (two boys & a girl). Professor Pat Utomi as his role model.

Over ten years experience in journalism, leading project, public relations, human resources, media and publicity consulting, content development, and corporate branding communications, public management, freelance lecturing on citizenship education, public administration and public management..

I authored African Security Solutions,Enemy Within, Price for Prize, Forgive Nigeria and Vision for Africa where i coined a new system of government called youthocracy, defined as government of the people, by the youth and for the people in 2013.

My over 10 career in journalism and public relations has been built on the foundation of diligence and perseverance. For me, learning is a continuous process,: I believed in expanding my horizons while adding to my list of skills sets.  

Independently, I have edited and reports for numbers of newspapers and magazines both local and national wise which includes The Guardian, Findout Newspaper,  Newswatch Times, Jubel Magazine, RCCG church bulletin and News of the world Newspaper as well as light reads like opinion letters, columns and features in major newspapers like The Guardian, The Nation, Findout Newspaper, Nigerian Tribune,  Thisday, The Punch, Daily Independent and more. this have even made me explore the world of banking, education, information technology, politics, business economy,  marital life, society, aerospace, judiciary, entertainment, oil and gas and more while reporting and editing content pertaining to the aforesaid across West Africa with available proofs online. DR. MIKE OKIRO


 Dr .Mike Mbama Okiro, CFR, NPM, the 13th indigenous Inspector-General of Police of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was born on 24th July, 1949, attended St. Michael’s Primary School, Kalabari Beach, Oguta. As a young boy he attended St. Peter Claver Seminary, Okpala.  During the Nigerian Civil war he studied philosophy in St. Augustine Seminary Afaha Obong, Ikot-Ekpene (Bigard in exile). After the war he got admitted into the University of Ibadan, Oyo State where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in English in 1976. He proceeded thereafter to the University of Lagos and obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration. 

He also holds a Bachelor of Law and Master Law Degrees from the University of Jos, Plateau State. Okiro in addition also holds Honorary Doctorate Degrees from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State and Novena University, Delta State and University of Jos. He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Plateau State.

Sir (Dr.) Mike Mbama Okiro is a man with vast literary acumen and has authored four books. He is happily married with children and enjoys playing chess, writing, and an energetic leader with numerous training skills.

Alfred-Esezolor she is assistant chief health information manager and former Head of Department of health records department at Federal New Psychiatric Hospital (FNPH Yaba) .

DR. OLAYIWOLA  ADEOSUN


Born on April 6, 1964, Dr.Olayiwola Adeosun attended Seventh-Day Adventist Grammar School, Ile Ife, Osun State from 1978 to 1984. He later attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State for his National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology from 1985 to 1987

He proceeded to Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State, where he bagged Bsc. (Ed) Hons in Economics with Second Class Upper Division in 1992. He joined the service of Grace Institute of Secretarial and Management Studies in 1995 after the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps. 

He rose to the post of Vice Principal in 1999 when Grace Institute of Secretarial and Management Studies attained the status of Polytechnic and transformed to Grace Polytechnic. He served as the first Head of Department of Business Studies, and later, H.O.D General Studies.

He bagged M,Ed. Management in 2001 and his Ph.D (Economics of Education) in 2016 from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

He rose from Lecturer II in 1999 to Chief Lecturer in 2012. He has served as Director of Schools, Deputy Rector (Academics) as well as Member and Chairman of various Committees in the Polytechnic.

He has taught at Lagos State University,Ojo,  Lagos State Polytechnic,Ikorodu,Ogun State University (now OlabisiOnabanjo University) Ago Iwoye, Ogun State; Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka as well as the National Open University, Lagos, between 1997 and 2010. He is currently a Facilitator with the National Open University, Nigeria.

An Associate Member, Nigeria Institute on Management (NIM); Fellow, Association for Information and Management Science (AIMS); Certified Fellow Member, International Professional Managers Association (IPMA)–UK,  former National Education and Professional Development Officer of the IPMA-UK, Nigeria Forum. He is currently the President, IPMA-UK, Lagos-Western Zone.

He became the Ag. Rector of the Polytechnic in 2012 and was substantiated in December, 2015. He currently consults for Tertiary Institutions of Learning on programmes mounting and accreditation/re-accreditation exercises.
